Rules for Posting Signs on the Town Common

1. Signs must pertain to community or town events and must not advertise personal or commercial events.

2. Signs may be posted up to 3 weeks prior to an event.

3. Signs must be removed within 24 hours of event, or 3 weeks after posting.

4. Signs must be placed in the southwest corner of the Civil War Monument Common.

5. Signs must be free-standing, a maximum of 10 square feet, and not attached to trees in any manner.

6. Signs must be dated with an event date or a posting date.

7. Signs abiding by the above rules are considered approved by Parks and Recreation without further approval. 
8. Signs of any type may be removed at any time by Parks and Recreation if not following the above rules.
